Blade groaned as his eyes fluttered open. He sat up and almost immediately regretted it. His head swam and he felt like his insides had just jumped into his throat and were trying to get out. He swallowed hard and shook his head to try to clear it. As he did so his onyx coloured hair stuck to his face with a rather sticky substance.
    "Huh?" He pulled some of his hair in front of his face to get a look at what was in it.
    "What the hell!?" It was white and creamy and smelled sweet. It came back to him then what had happened. A beautiful blonde Warlock had run straight into him. And when he'd helped her up a cake had fallen onto his head.
    "I see you're awake you murderer!" The voice of a woman brought him back to present day and he looked over at her, making sure to keep his left eye closed, just in case. It was the same warlock from before.
    "Murderer!? Look lady you're the one that ran into me and then your cake fell on my head!" He snapped before he noticed their surroundings and that he was lying on her couch. He felt his cheeks burn.
    'Holy crap I'm in her house! Holy crap, holy crap, holy crap! Wh-what do I do now!? Wait... WHAT DID I DO!?' He thought in a panic as the warlock pouted at him.
    "I-I'm sorry!" She fell to her knees and began to cry making the Guillotine freeze. Now what had he done!?
    "S-sorry for what? I mean... sure it's the first time anyone's called me a murderer but..." He trailed off as she wailed and he bit his lip nervously. He had no idea how to stop her from crying.
    "I didn't mean to Soul Drain you!" She wailed and Blade sighed. So that's what happened to him after she'd started to call him a murderer. It also kinda explained why he was in an unfamiliar area.
    "It's alright, you could've done worse." Blade got up and went over to her. He put a hand on her shoulder as he knelt down in front of her. "And I'm sorry about your cake, but I'm afraid I can't fix that. Though I suppose I could buy you another, you know, to make up for it." Blade attempted to cheer her up and she looked up at him, tears still stinging her eyes.
    "Y-You mean it?" She stammered and he nodded with a smile. "O-Okay, uhm, my name's Kyrius Keeper, you are?" Kyrius asked as they stood up together.
    "Blade Kishitani, it's a pleasure to meet you." He gave her another smile and offered her his hand for a handshake. Kyrius took it and smiled up at him. She was tiny in comparison to him.
    "Likewise, uhm... if you want you can borrow my shower. You know, to get the icing and cake out of your hair." Kyrius suggested and Blade blushed again.
    "Th-thanks but I have a hotel room and would rather just head back there." He backed away from her, which caused her to tilt her head to the side curiously. Weird, a guy with his looks was shying away? It made her wonder.
    "Alright, shall I come with you then?" She asked, trying to keep the mood light. This only caused Blade to vanish. "H-Hey! Blade! Sight!" She cast the spell and instantly revealed him again. Though she also realized why he'd vanished, the blush on his face was the same shade as the red on his armour. She politely turned around.
    "You can come with me to the hotel if you want, but... please stay out of the room." He muttered, his voice so low that she barely heard what he said.
    "Alright, that's fair." She let him leave first before locking up and together they walked towards his hotel. Once they got there she stayed in the lobby and waited for him to come back. While she waited she sat on a plush chair and sighed, her chin in one palm.
    'I don't think I've ever seen a guy with those kinds of looks that's been that shy before. Hmm...' She sighed as she thought. Lost as she was in her thoughts she jumped in shock when Blade waved a hand in front of her face. She very nearly Soul Drained the poor Guillotine again but he managed to dodge it.
    "You're not used to being a Warlock yet are you?" He observed and she pouted at him.
    "Yeah, sorry, I nearly did it again to you." She sighed as she stood up and he shrugged.
    "It's fine, not a big deal." Blade stated as Kyrius looked him over and was surprised to see that his hair was still damp and he was wearing his armour again, though it showed signs of having been cleaned. Her eyes lingered on his bangs. They were uneven in cut, but the left side was around the same length as the rest of his hair, effectively hiding his left eye from view.
    "You should cut your hair." She stated and reached up to tuck his bangs behind his ear. He flinced away from her and backed up a couple steps.
    "Thanks but I like my hair like this, shall we go get you that cake?" He asked, sounding almost defensive.
    "R-right." She dropped her hand to her side and they left to go and get another cake, since her first one had ended up all over Blade.
